Petroleum India International has vast and varied experience for undertaking projects in hydrocarbon sector based on grownup demand in domestic and global markets, hence PII  consortium is the preferred partner to undertake execution of  project abroad. PII can  assume the role to carry out the entire project or based on client’s requirement takes responsibility for the execution of part or project. The normal approach is to deploy task forces which are responsible for all phases of their execution which could include project concepts, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, planning and cost control, construction and commissioning supervision. Alternatively, PII can meet the clients requirements to take part responsibility in specific areas such as Instrumentation, Inspection services, Fire and Safety,etc. during the implementation of the projects.A large database of information is available to the teams for development of state-of-the-art solutions.

The experience gained in the implementation of complex integrated projects has strengthened Petroleum India International position to undertake the role of Project Management Consultant.

It can take full responsibilities for the assigned jobs to ensure the completion on schedule and within the budgeted cost.

EXPERIENCE
As a part of the World Bank project PII has provided the Project Management Services for the execution of Aviation Tankage Facilities project in Ghana, in the Republic ofMaldives for the storage and handling of Aviation jet fuel. Based on the design, PII undertook the assignment starting from the procurement of the material, construction, testing and commissioning. The facility included a jetty and provision for infrastructure to complete the purchase for ‘ready to use’ purpose source of Indian service for chemical, civil and electrical work were employed and the project was completed to full satisfaction of the client.

Currently, PII is engaged since 2006, as project management consultants and supervisors for prestigious cross-country pipeline capacity enhancement project inKenya. The objective is to double the capacity of the existing product pipeline by virtue to install additional pump stations and related facilities including SCADA system, etc. PII has formed a consortium with a local party and is providing project management consultancy. This changing project took off from the nascent stage involving preparation and approval of pre-qualification tenders, evaluation of the contractors in various disciplines withrecommendations followed by formation of task force for implementation. Based on developed project execution schedule. PII is entrusted with the job of overall co-ordination.

PII provided project Management services for Kumasi Oil Depot Expansion in Ghana during the period 2008 to 2008.The consultancy was provided to enhance the storage capacity and to rationalize the installation layout.During the period 2000 to 2003. PII was bestowed with project Management Consultancy and subsequent project for rehabilitation of crude and product tanks which were in a depilated state. This included major repairs to be carried out in a time bound manner. Most of the materials was sourced by imports. Further, as an part of modernization of the product terminal, auto tank gauging systems were installed which facilitated automation of oil accounting system later.
