Secondment for Projects (WORLDWIDE)


KUWAIT

PII is operating with KNPC, since last 17 years. PII provided services of its personnel for Section Heads, Engineering, Shift Supervisors and Operators to M/s. Kuwait National Petroleum Company for Maintenance and operation, Engineering, Projects, Management of their various refineries.

PII provided services of its experts for Maintenance of Instrument and Control systems of Ahmadi Refinery of Kuwait National Petroleum Company. PII has also provided on-the-job training to a group of 45 KNPC Engineers, Supervisors and technicians ranging from two weeks to eight weeks.

Presently about 27 Engineers are working in all the three Refineries and Local Marketing Division of KNPC.

BAHRAIN

PII has a consultancy contract with BAPCO, Bahrain for design and construction management services. Presently 6 Engineering personnel have been deputed in Bahrain for this job.

PII has been awarded Fuel oil project by M/s. AGAS International and currently five Engineering personnel have been deputed for this project.

OMAN

PII is operating with M/s. Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company since last 8 years for providing Engineering personnel for Design and Construction Management, Turnaround and Inspection etc.

QATAR

PII has been awarded call – off manpower support services contract by Qatar Petroleum, Qatar  for their new infrastructural development project.

PII has been also awarded Call of Manpower Support Services contract by M/s. Qatar Petroleum for their Linear Alkyl Benzene Project in year 2004. For this project more than 25 Engineering Personnel have been mobilized starting from Design phase till the commissioning of the plant.

SAUDI ARABIA

PII provided the services of software engineers to TECHNIQUE, FRANCE for development, implementation and commissioning of the Marketing Support System for PETROMIN, SAUDI ARABIA. This project is completely computerised and integrated to take care of the marketing activities of Petromin. Our specialists developed and implemented the computerised system for bulk products marketing, lube products demand and consumption patterns etc.

Services of Process Engineers, to meet the Operational requirements of JEDDAH OIL REFINERY COMPANY, were also provided.

ABU DHABI

PII is providing Engineers and Technicians for Maintenance of Umm Al Naar Refinery of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.


SHARJAH

PII has long term contract with Petrofac International, Sharjah for their ongoing projects all over the world.

DUBAI

PII has a long term agreement with Iso Octane Company, Dubai for Commissioning and Operations and Maintenance services for their refinery.

ETHIOPIA

  • Design, construction, operation & maintenance contract with National Petroleum reserved depot administration of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
  • Complete feasibility for Ethiopian Petroleum Enterprise for import & distribution of petroleum products in Ethiopia.
  • Advanced stage of having a joint venture for distribution of POL & LPG in Ethiopia.
  • Design, Construction of LPG storage facilities at Djibouti for Ethiopian Petroleum Enterprise.  

 

TANZANIA

Design, Construction of POL depot at Dar –Es- Salam.

MOZAMBIQUE

PII was selected for providing consultancy services for Technical Assistance and Rehabilitation Project of PETROMOC-MOZAMBIQUE, which is aided by World Bank, provided 7 specialists in the fields of Transport Fleet Management. Operation Management, Lubes Management, Depots Management in achieving the following objectives:

  • To modernise its management systems and procedures and to provide training to management and technical personnel in the application of the new systems.
  • To improve Petromoc’s operating efficiency through optimisation of purchasing procedures, minimisation of inventories, reduction of losses, improvement of safety and security, improvement in the service factors of equipments etc.
  • To improve reliability and continuity of supply of petroleum products to all parts of the country.
  • To maximise local inputs in preference to foreign purchases.
  • And to train counterparts and other managerial and supervisory personnel in their respective fields and assist in the physical rehabilitation programme of Petromoc.


This consultancy project was for a period of three years and was completed in December 1993. However, Petromoc retained services of some experts till March 1995.

MADAGASCAR

•    System study for rehabilitation of Solima Refinery at TAM TAVE
•    Advanced stage for signing a technical agreement for complete rehabilitation & management of the refinery.
•    Training of refinery executives of Solima.

NIGERIA

PII provided a Technical Backup Team jointly with UOP Management Services Inc., (UMS), US, consisting of 94 specialists – 10 from UMS and 84 from PII for providing operational assistance and technical backup services after start-up of the newly constructed 150,000 BPSD Refinery at PORT HARCOURT belonging to the State-owned Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation. During this contract.  PII/UMS have not only provided the necessary support for MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION of the refinery but have also rendered on-the-job training to PHRC personnel so that in course of time they can take over the entire operations of the refinery confidently.  The Technical Backup Team consisted of Core Management personnel, middle level Managers and Operators in the entire spectrum of the refinery operations.

Since 1994 PII is having direct contract with NNPC/PHRC and worked as technical backup team at PHRC till December 1997. 11 Engineers were working for Operations and Maintenance of Power Plant and Utilities units of WRPC Refinery since September 1992. 110 engineers of the R&P directorate of NNPC have been trained in Indian refineries for various technical programs ranging from 3 to 5 weeks.

SUDAN

PII provided training to Instrument Engineers of Kenana Sugar Co. Sudan on DIDC System for four months in India.


LIBYA

•    Tacks on advanced stage with M/s Technical (Subsiding of National Oil Corp. Of Libya) for supply of technical experts on regular basis.
•    Fifteen personnel from M/s. Alzawiya Refinery for six months training in Indian refinery.

SCOTLAND

PII has long-term contract with Aker Maritime, Scotland for design consultancy.

KENYA

PII has been awarded the Technical Consultancy Contract by M/s. Kenya Pipeline Company, Kenya in Feb’2006 for proposed Line-1 Capacity enhancement.
 

GHANA

PII has been awarded the Technical Consultancy contract by BOST Bulk Oil Storage Transportation, Ghana in May 2006 for Kumasi Depot Expansion Project – Engg. Supervision Services for the Construction of Two Petroleum Product Storage Tanks and Ancillary facilities.
