Qualification & Experience required for

“Potential IWCF Instructors”

Qualifications  :  
Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical

Experience (Must Have) :
1. Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria.
a. A minimum of 3 year experience at “Driller Level” or above in oilfield drilling operation, plus a minimum of 6 months teaching well control.
b. Must have minimum 3 years experience in supervision of “Well site Drilling Operations”.
c. Experience of teaching well control for at least 2 years using simulator equipment.
2. Excellent communication, presentation skills with a passion for teaching.

Experience (Preferred)  :
1. Working knowledge of Arabic
2. Candidates having valid ‘IWCF Certificate’ with more than 80% marks in (Principles and Procedures & Equipments) written papers & 90% marks in Simulator examination. Such candidates would be nominated for instructor training by PII where in they have to assist an existing instructor in conducting stipulated number of ‘Simulator Tests’ in one of our IWCF course and on satisfactory performance they may be recommended to ‘IWCF Secretariat’ for their approval as an Instructor. Only after getting certified as Instructor by IWCF Secretariat, would be authorized to conduct IWCF Courses.

Those candidates who do not have valid IWCF Certificates but having required above stated experience and passion for teaching and training are also invited to apply for this position.

Remuneration  :
Negotiable and would be comparable with the Oil & Gas Industry in India.

Nature of the position  :
This position is senior level and only dedicated and committed personnel need to apply. Preference would be given to those candidates, who would be in a position to associate with us, n fulltime basis.

Location  :
Position is based at Mumbai. But the selected instructors will be required to travel within India and abroad for conducting courses.

Short listed candidates will be required to attend personal interview at Mumbai at their cost.
